It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official webpage of the Graduate School of Law at Mid-West University. Established in 2018, the School was founded to provide quality legal education to the western part of Nepal.
As the premier Law School of western part of Nepal, we are committed to bring up sound legal knowledge and practical skills among our students to meet both societal needs and international standards. The Graduate School of Law is offering B.A.LL.B. program over the past seven years. The program is a five-year integrated Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws designed to produce energetic, committed and competent young lawyers with strong leadership skills and the ability to tackle complex legal challenges.
The School is dedicated in fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and the pursuit of academic excellence. Our graduates have begun to build promising careers-some are practicing law, others have taken up positions in government, and many are pursuing postgraduate studies. Following the successful graduation of our first batch, we are inspired not only to increase student enrollment but also expand the scope of the program.
From the very beginning, we have been committed to establishing a strong foundation for excellence in legal education. Although our faculty consists of a single law school with dedicated students, we have prioritized quality over quantity. Our focus has been on nurturing critical thinking, ethical practice, and a deep, multidimensional understanding of the law. This formative phase has enabled us to cultivate a close-knit academic environment where students and faculty engage meaningfully and grow together.
As we look into the future, our foremost priority is to reform and enrich our academic programs to meet the emerging demands of the legal profession and society at large. We are committed to expand our academic offerings, introduce new programs, and strengthen interdisciplinary learning. Guided by a vision of inclusive and forward-thinking to legal education, we aim to empower our students not only with legal knowledge but also with the skills and competencies necessary to lead, serve, and innovate in a complex, ever-changing world.
